Lucy Herbert (Senior Skipper)
In order to maintain a really efficient service for the users of ‘Rivertime’ the Trustees have appointed Lucy Herbert, as the Senior Skipper. Lucy was brought up on the river and has spent a number of years with the Environment Agency working as a Boatwoman / Lock and Weir Keeper.
Since taking on the proud role of Senior Skipper of ‘Rivertime’ she has brought and continues to bring pleasure to many disabled and disadvantaged children and adults by giving them a relaxed and memorable experience on the river.
In addition there are more than 10 qualified skippers and 15 crew all of whom have the necessary skills and qualifications to ensure that all the statutory regulations are adhered to so that passengers can enjoy their trip in safety and comfort.
